Trauma Care does not just employ ordinary people as their First Aid Attendants. People need to be responsible, caring, and trustworthy to be a First Aid Attendant. Trauma Care contracts employee's that are either in the British Columbia Ambulance Service (BCAS), Firefighters and other First Responders (FR), Emergency Medical Responders (EMR), and at the very least are Occupational First Aid Level 3 certificate holders with WorkSafeBC. This allows Trauma Care to provide companies with very competent and willing First Aid Attendants who are dedicated to their job.

Our employees have honed many skills which are unique to this type of work by either being part of it, or trained by other employee's in our 15 year period. Not only do our attendants perform their primary role for the emergency treatment and transportation of the sick and injured, they are also able to perform many administrative tasks such as: traffic control, time keeping, radio check-ins, site paperwork, safety patrols, light labour, as well as site orientation and hosting for new employees if designated to do so.
