This WorkSafeBC course covers all emergency medical techniques considered to be within the responsibility of the First Aid Attendant providing emergency care in industry within 20 minutes surface travel time to a Hospital. |

Level 2 First Aid is designed for any industry that has quick and easy access by Ambulance. The Level 2 program parallels the Level 3 course objectives excluding lower leg splinting and transportation of supine patients. |

- How to identify and manage critical interventions of the airway with C-spine control for conscious and unconscious patients. |
- How to identify respiratory emergencies and manage critical interventions. |
- How to identify circulatory emergencies and manage critical interventions for conscious patients and patients with a decreased level of consciousness. |
- How to conduct the secondary component of the priority action approach for patients in the rapid transport category and patients in the first aid room. |
- How to assess, manage and identify medical referral for soft tissue injuries. |
- How to identify and manage head, brain, and spinal injuries for conscious patients and patients with a decreased level of consciousness. |
